PG · SG · SF · PF · C · G · F · 3 UTIL
Daily changes. Each player locks at his scheduled game time. Lineup protection is off. Primary-position centers are capped at four.
Waivers & pickups

Claims process daily at 6 a.m. ET. Seven adds per standard weekly matchup. Winning a claim moves you to the back of the tiebreaker order; it never resets.
Season & playoffs
20 regular-season matchups, one week each. No maximum games-played limit.
Eight playoff teams. Each playoff round is one week. Playoff seeding ties use head-to-head record. No bracket reseeding.
Trades & keepers
Two-day trade review. Six votes required to veto. Trade deadline: March 15, 2027 at noon Eastern. How veto votes work.
No keepers enter this draft. You may keep 0–13 for 2027–28. Keeper selections lock one hour before next season’s draft. The Lab’s salary rule is below. Keeper strategy.
THE LAB’S KEEPER POLICY · ADOPTED OCTOBER 8, 2026
Keep the talent.
Pay the raise.
Your winning draft price or waiver bid sets the starting salary. Calculate the first raise once: 10% of that price, rounded up to a whole dollar, with a $3 minimum and $7 maximum.
Each consecutive keep adds $1 to the annual raise until it reaches $7. Add that raise to the previous salary. There’s no mandatory year limit.
Trades carry the player’s salary and keeper history to the new team. Changing owners doesn’t restart the raises. Keeper salaries come out of next season’s $200 draft budget. Leave at least $1 for each open roster spot.
The commissioner tracks this rule and enters keeper salaries in ESPN. Read the short strategy guide.
